John was great!
I saw Holiday Pops: Jazzy Winter Wonderland about 7 years ago in a different venue and the atmosphere was much different. The concert itself was great! I was VERY disappointed that taking pictures was prohibited. I can respect not using flash or not taking videos but pictures help capture the memory. The Old National Events plaza had ushers that stood about every 5 to 6 rows and I just felt like I was back in high school; constantly being supervised. I have been to a lot of concerts over the past 7 years and I keep a picture book that reminds me of that night. It was uncomfortable and took away from Holiday Pops: Jazzy Winter Wonderland's concert. Holiday Pops: Jazzy Winter Wonderland is a legend and I would pay to see them again.

"Jazzy Winter Wonderland Holiday Pops is an entertainer like I've never seen before! His energy is contagious and I really don't think there was a bad seat in the house at Notre Dame. Going to an outside football stadium in the cold rain is not my idea of a good time. I was a little worried about the weather, as it had been cold and raining NON-STOP for 5 days before the concert. However, the concert Gods were on our side and the day dawned sunny and dry! It was a beautiful day for a concert and Garth outdid himself! He brought his wife, Trisha Yearwood onstage towards the end of the concert and the two of them blew it out of the water! Get your tickets NOW, you won't be disappointed!"

My favorite moment was when Graham Russell made a personal connection by handing my wife a guitar pick after an intense exchange of expressions and gestures during direct eye contact. It was an unforgettable experience.
The venue, though not what I expected, turned out to be a hotel ballroom setup instead of a theater. However, the Holiday Pops: Jazzy Winter Wonderland performance managed to make the space work. While not the ideal setting, the show was still fantastic.

Time Warner Cable Ampitheater's security staff is amazing! They handled every situation quickly and thoroughly to try and keep concertgoers safe. Whatever they are being paid, it is not enough! This is a smaller venue and more intimate, so we were closer to the stage/band which was cool! Holiday Pops: Jazzy Winter Wonderland rocked the house! Besides all of the chaos, it was still the best Holiday Pops: Jazzy Winter Wonderland show that I have been to. Their performance was full of energy and Cage the Elephant was great too! I would like to say that the security staff at Time Warner Cable Ampitheater is amazing! People who were near the fights had people falling all over them, and they in turn would fall onto the next person--like dominoes! Just in the few hours we were there we witnessed several fights and there were a few drunken girls that were out of control and running into everyone. The last two times I saw Holiday Pops: Jazzy Winter Wonderland they looked like specks on the stage because I was so far away--not this time! My only complaint is how the venue is set up. There are no seats, and it is a recipe for disaster.
